Well it’s been awhile since I’ve posted on my blog. We made it through all the birthdays and Christmas.Boy, am I glad all those are over.

We are always hit pretty hard with birthdays starting November – end of January. I just finished up Valentine’s Day celebrations for the girls’ schools.

Next up Fun Night, Mom Prom and Father/Daughter dance.

I just finished up the party supplies for my two nieces MOD Monkey Party.

I had fun making all the items and learned a little in Publisher.

Ofcourse you need two when you have twin girls.

I saw in the Family Fun Magazine where you could make a skeleton out of milk jugs.

I was disappointed when I realized they wanted between 7-10 jugs when I only had

4 in my recycle bin. I then started to research on internet and found a blog

where you only use 3 milk gallon jugs. I was very excited when I came across her blog.

I took photos of him last night, but it’s very windy here in Iowa, so he was moving quit

a bit.

I decided to take a week off from orders to get caught up on inventory and I’m doing another craft fair in November. I have done only one other craft fair and it didn’t go so well. I’m thinking it was due to the lack of inventory and planning on my part. Does anyone have any good suggestions for me? I’m looking for table ideas or how to display my products. I also, struggle with splitting up time between my family (school functions, dance, gymnastics, piano) and having a home based business. Does anyone else struggle with this?

I just finished a jungle centerpiece theme. Here are some examples of the kits available at my shop. Colors of tissue paper can be changed to match celebration color scheme. My goal this week is to complete an ocean theme and a horse theme.

So, I was looking to organize my Cricut Cartridges so that I was able to find them easily. I saw a post that had a great idea, I’m sorry I don’t remember her name, but it got me thinking about what products I had that I would be able to use. Then I remembered I had 19 cent after Easter bags that I purchased at Michaels. Then I used my software on my computer to come up with a label for each cartridge. Here’s a photo of how they turned out. I would say its made my crafting a lot easier.

I’ve been very busy since my last post in November. With Alexis turning 4 in December and Taylor turning 8 in January. It now time for the father daughter dance at my church. I was asked to make the centerpieces for the tables and this is what I came  up with. I think they turned out pretty nice.

In the next couple months I plan to expand my product line to include more centerpiece kits. And maybe a utube video might be made.
